Zehfuss K-9 Training Center of Lawton, Oklahoma offers professional dog training classes that specialize in Search and Rescue. Our Search and Rescue dog training classes concentrate small area searches. Each class is privately taught by Matthias Zehfuss, Certified Dog Behaviorist and Professional Dog Trainer. By the end of the course, you and your dog will be trained the following:
- small area searches
- explanation and theory
on how to follow the
nature of a scent - scent discrimination
- run-a-ways
- find
- re-find
- commands
Course Length
Six 30-minute classes (one class per week)
Prerequisite(s)
Zehfuss and LB rest for picture after their Search and Rescue exercise.
